RESIDENTS WEB SITE The Residents Web Site is an independent information resource for owners, residents and anyone interested in the Renaissance of Sarasota. View http://RenCondo.homestead.com TRASH CHUTES Please wrap all trash before you throw it down the chute. Unwrapped trash may cling to the walls of the trash chute and may result in odor problems and pest infestation.
Do not place boxes or other large objects in the trash chute. They may get stuck on the way down, blocking the shaft and causing a system shutdown.
All small boxes may be placed inside the trash chute room. Our maintenance staff will pick up small boxes during their floor inspection. Please call the Manager's office or the Concierge if you have large boxes or cartons to dispose of.
If the red light on the trash chute is illuminated, it indicates that the chute door is open on another floor, and the chute doors on all of the other floors are temporarily locked.
WOOD FLOOR UPGRADES Many residents have been thinking about upgrading their units by installing wood floors. Any drilling or channeling in the concrete floor is prohibited. Appropriate sound deadening material must be used to minimize the transmission of sound between units. Wood floors must be installed over a minimum of ¼" cork sheet with an approved adhesive on the top and bottom. We strongly recommend that you obtain a Certificate of Insurance from your contractor.
